For automatisation purposes we developed a perl-script called
gmvmpeg that simplifies the generation of MPEG movies with GMV,
the ``General Mesh Viewer`` of the Los Alamos group. Particularly, the
possibility to do this ``in background`` on (remote) computers might
be of general interest.
