Short description and remarks


Channel flow with two narrowing sections at different Reynolds numbers. The location and heights of the two bumps are varied which results in very different, time-dependent flow patterns. In all following diagrams, the first block is for a low Reynolds number case, followed by two calculations for a midranged Reynolds number.

The second block corresponds to simulations again with midrange and high Reynolds numbers, but in contrast now for different locations of the bumps. A typical coarse mesh is shown in the following Figure.
