Short description and remarks


Flow around a wing construction with different angles of attack: 4.5, 13.5 and 22.5 degrees. For the chosen medium Reynolds number - despite the steady inflow profile - the flow gets fully nonsteady. The corresponding coarse mesh (after two refinements) for all calculations is plotted in the following diagram.     Visualization via distribution of temperature in the flow field, starting from the heated surface walls. The left video shows the results for 4.5 degrees, followed by 13.5 (middle) and finally for 22.5 degrees angle of attack (right).
