For the promotion of young researchers the IEEM offers a pre-doctoral program in mathematics education, a seminar for doctoral students once a week and a doctoral students’ colloquium for internal doctoral candidates and post-docs as well as external doctoral candidates every six months.
The IEEM has initiated the interdisciplinary Graduate School Didactical Design research on diagnostic teaching and learning (FUNKEN). Currently the IEEM provides two doctoral students, one post-doc and two members of the management team of FUNKEN.
