Moving Rotor in 2D

The configuration is a cave with a moving rotor in the center, an inflow from the right and outflow at the bottom. The flow is visualized by using particle tracing and uses white for particles and gray for the rotor. The left visualisation inserts repeatedly its particles along a single line located at the inflow and the right visualisation insert only one large block of particles at startup. The right visualisation shows, that particles at the interior corners of the rotor will stay there! See also these examples in our album.
