The following examples concern flows in and over cavities.
In the cavity, the flow turns around, with small separation zones along the boundary walls.
The complexity of the problem depends on the:
- speed over/under/in the cavity
- viscosity
- shape of the cavity
A systematic variation of these different configurations has been part of the following
flow situations. Most of them were performed by students during the
Software-Praktikum at Heidelberg in 1997/1998.
